2100 series Clip-on mounting fingerstrips

This simple clamping system is suitable for sealing gaps between an EMI/RFI-shielded door and its doorframe. and similar applications.

The 2100 series is designed for use where high temperatures or other design considerations preclude the use of adhesive-mounted gaskets. These fingerstrips provide the same shielding characteristics and effectiveness as the 2300 series Stick-on mounting fingerstrips, i.e. >100dB for the 100 MHz plane wave.

The contact edge of this Fingerstrip series expands and it has a low to high deflection (see technical drawings below).

For applications where a small dynamic range is required and a spring-clip mounting is preferred. Fingerstrips from this series are easy to mount by simply clipping them on or over the edge where they are to be attached by pressing / sliding (see picture below).

2100 series Clip-on mounting fingerstrips - a simple clamping system

Clip-on 2102

Clip-on with many small contact fingers to facilitate contact with an uneven surface. The small contact points make this a dynamic fingerstrip that easily adapts to the contact surface.

Clip-on 2105

These fingerstrips combine high dynamic deflection with very low compression force and a long life span. After repeated compression the strip retains its resilience while keeping a firm grip on the mounted section. This makes it ideal for situations where adhesive bonding is not required.

Simple. rapid clamp construction.
